クリスマス

普段は、流行やキラキラしたことには疎いかみ子ですが、クリスマスだけは、街中のキラキラした雰囲気に飲まれ、少しウキウキするそうです。

日本人って不思議ですね。クリスマスには教会に、大晦日はお寺で除夜の鐘。その足で神社に初詣。祈りまくる日本人。来年はコロナさんお手柔らかに！

Christmas

Usually Kamiko is not a fan of trend, but at Christmas, she says, she gets swept up in the glittering atmosphere of the city and becomes a little excited.

Japanese people are strange. We go to church on Christmas Day, and on New Year's Eve, we go to a temple to ring the bell for New Year's Eve. After temple, we go to the shrine for Hatsumode, first time visit of the year. The Japanese pray a lot. Next year, Corona, please be kind to us!

圣诞节

平时Kamiko并不喜欢潮流和闪亮的东西，但在圣诞节时，她说自己会被城市的闪亮氛围冲昏头脑，有些兴奋。

日本人很奇怪。 圣诞节我们去教堂，除夕夜我们去寺庙敲钟拜年。 除夕夜，他们到寺庙敲钟，结束新年。 日本人经常祈祷。 明年，科罗纳先生，请对我们好一点！

雪景色

かみ子と一緒に、東北の親戚を訪ねました。雪が降り積もると、何だか空気がキーンと静かで、自分の足音と息づかいだけが聞こえます。年々、雪の量が少なくなっているような。。雪は山を清潔に保ために必要なんだそうです。温暖化かな？

A snowy landscape

Kamiko and I visited our relatives in Tohoku. When the snow falls, the air is kind of keen and quiet, and I can only hear my footsteps and breathing. Every year, the amount of snow seems to be getting smaller and smaller. Snow is necessary to keep the mountains clean, I’v heard. Is it global warming?

我和龟子去东北探亲。 下雪的时候，空气是那种敏锐而安静的，你能听到的只有你的脚步声和呼吸声。 似乎每年空中的雪越来越少了。 他们说，需要雪来保持山体的清洁。 是全球变暖吗？

12月7日 (December 7th)
九十九里浜ドライブ

12月にしては陽気な気候に誘われて、千葉を横断して九十九里浜方面へ。

高速道路を抜けて海に近づいてくると、一気に周囲の景観や植生が変わるような気がします。近頃は移住者も増えているそうで、海には家族連れやサーファーがいました。やっぱり海はいいですよね。

Kujukuri Beach Drive

Lured by the cheerful weather for December, I crossed Chiba to Kujukuri-hama, Japan. As we passed through the highway and approached the sea, the landscape and vegetation around us seemed to change at once. I heard that the number of immigrants has been increasing recently, and there were families and surfers on the beach. The sea is still nice, isn't it?

九十九里海滨大道

12月的晴朗天气，吸引着我穿过千叶向九十九里滨走去。

当我们经过高速公路，接近大海的时候，周围的景色和植被似乎一下子发生了变化。 听说最近移民的人越来越多，海滩上有家庭和冲浪者。 大海还是不错的，不是吗？
